So I'm having an issue involving the nether portal not working for me on multiplayer. My friend and I are doing a survival island and we finally managed to get all the materials to make a nether portal. But when I stepped into it, it wouldn't teleport us anywhere. I use the Multiverse-Core plugin on my server, and that's how I made our survival
Tried emptying my inventory in case it was some mod problem, including armor and baubles, still nothing. I can still go through the overworld portal just fine, both ways. Edit: Found the problem. All players have to have held a nether portal block in their inventory. So if one player builds the portal, other players cannot go through. 5. Sort by:
Oct 29th 2020. #1. Hi all, On my server that I've created for my friends and me, we've had a few issues with our nether portals. Whenever we enter the nether through our portal and leave through the same one, it will take us to a portal in the middle of the ocean that none of us created. Here's the steps you need to take: Make at least two buckets. Each one requires three Iron Ingots. Find a source of water and also one of lava. Lava is often found underground, but sometimes there are pools of it on the surface. It's easier to make the Nether Portal near your lava source.
My current setup has a lobby world with portals to other worlds. One portal goes to creative world set with overworld, nether, and end. Hi, does anyone have an idea how to disable nether portals from being used (not created)? I have a big nether portal at my spawn that runs a console command to RTP player in overworld so in 90% the plugin tp players instantly but sometimes it needs some time so players get teleported into the nether before they get RTP-ed.
Hi everyone. So I'm in a server with some friends, and today we went looking for the Stronghold. We already had a portal at our base. After finally finding it we built a Nether portal, only to sadly find out that when you go in it you spawn in the Nether spawn of the portal in the base, we go in again and we get to the base.
1. Apr 15th 2020. #1. I have an issue where my nether portals dont link up properly. I've had portals 1k blocks away all go to the same spot, and it makes travel difficult in my server. This works both ways, as if I put a portal in the nether it links up to about the same area where I put my first portal, while if I put one in the overwolrd it
