The filter location for the X244 is significantly different to that for the later X250. It is accessed from the outside, and is in part of the cabin air intake system. (I know the first diagram is of a car, but the pictures are all, obviously, for the X244). Hi I have just bought a fiat ducato 2.0JTD carioca. After driving 300 miles home I quickly noticed fuel leak. I have rad the threads about fuel filter problems and people not using the correct tool to tighten it up. I have no idea if that is the issue (I am not a mechanic of any level). What I can say is that it is dripping from the fuel tank. Use a hammer and block of wood to undo the filter cap tapping gently until it starts to move. Once loose, unscrew. It unscrews ANTICLOCKWISE. Lift screw connector out of the way and lift the filter assembly out of the filter housing. this is where the desiel gets spilt. Take the old filter off and stick the new one on. x2y4mX1.
